T2Q Competences Gap-Bridging Programme

The Teens2Queens Gap-bridging Training Programme is the heart of the Teens2Queens project: a hybrid course designed to build 15 essential life skills for young female migrants. These include personal development, social interaction, learning how to learn, EU citizenship, and entrepreneurial thinking, not to start businesses, but to shape creative ideas into real projects with confidence and structure.

Many of these skills are not taught in school, but they are vital for building self-confidence, protecting personal freedoms, and improving chances in the job market. That is why this training focuses on what really matters for living independently and equally in society.

The programme uses a mix of online learning, practical tools, and modern media, with content available in several languages. It is free to use, flexible, and includes a recognised micro-credential for completed work.

To make sure it fits young women’s needs in different countries, the project team tests and fine-tunes everything in pilot sessions and careful feedback. It is all about giving young migrant women the tools to thrive and helping social workers support them every step of the way.
